Stability Rolling For Huawei Watch 3 Series

Huawei has recently released system stability improvements for the Watch 3 series in China, which was launched in June 2023.

This latest update builds upon the previous month's release,

which introduced two new features to enhance the functionality of this immersive smartwatch.

With the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro version 3.0.0.366 (SP12C00E357R1P366) upgrade, users can expect improved system stability.

The changelog specifies that the upgrade focuses on optimizing system stability in various scenarios.

Here are the complete release notes for the June 2023 system stability update for the Huawei Watch 3 Series.

To begin the update process, please ensure that your watch is upgraded to version 3.0.0.366 (SP2C00E357R1P366) due to version restrictions.

There are two methods to update your watch:

Using the "Huawei Health" app on your mobile phone: Go to Devices, select your connected watch, scroll down to find the firmware update, and check for updates.

Pull down the menu on your watch, go to Settings, then navigate to System and Updates, and select Software Update.

Check for Updates from there.

During the installation of the upgrade package, please make sure that both your watch and mobile phone have a battery level above 50%.

Additionally, ensure that the Bluetooth connection between the watch and the mobile phone is stable, and that your network connection is normal.

Avoid operating the watch during the upgrade process

It is recommended to enable the following settings when your watch is connected to a Wi-Fi network:

Go to Settings, then navigate to System and Update, select Software Update, and access the Settings option

Turn on the switches for "Automatic download under Wi-Fi" and "Install at an idle time" to enable independent automatic downloads and installations during idle periods.

After the upgrade is completed, you may notice that the wearable device experiences some heat, lag, or faster battery consumption.

This is normal as the watch has overheating protection for a certain period after the upgrade, which restricts its performance accordingly.

Once the upgrade is finished, the watch's system and applications will be optimized and return to normal operation.
