Dashashwamedh Ghat

Dashashwamedh Ghat is famous for Ganga- Aarti. Their are lot of tourist visit in kashi to see this Ganga-Aarti. If you doesn’t see this Ganga- Aarti, one thing i said You are missing the Heart of the Banaras.

Dashashwamedh Ghat is situated on the bank of the holy river Ganga. If you want to see this Ghat as well as Ganga-Aarti you have to come at Godauliya OR Godowlia.

In Hindu mythology says, If a person who bath at this ghat the sins of his seven birth are destroyed, that is he gets salvation.

Assi Ghat

Another gems of Banaras is Assi ghat. In Banaras their is 88 Ghats. But Dashashwamedh ghat and assi ghat are famous because of Ganga Arati and bathing ceremony.

Being situated at the confluence of the river Assi and the river Ganges, this ghats become famous by the name of Assi. Know more

Manikarnika Ghat

Manikarnika Ghat one of the sacred place of Banaras as well as Hindu religion. This is place where cremation are performed.

Manikarnika Ghat is nearer from the Dashashwamedh Ghat. At that place you can see here a curved temple is present. This temple is known as Kaashi karwat.

In the Hindu methodology, if a person died and his cremation is performed over their. He will definitely get Moksha.

Yes this is the university which is famous for his education and its faculty. You are amazed to listen this university is in the list of top 10 university and his rank is 3rd.

This great university are built by the great freedom fighter and leader Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ji. When you are visit this university you are feeling fresh because of the fresh air.

In this university their is lot of faculties are working here even if you are moving toward eastern side of the BHU The heart of the BHU means IIT BHU is situated.

Saranath Buddhist Temples

We are all know about Buddhist religion. Saranath is an important place for Buddhist religion. At that place Mahatma Buddha gives 1st speech which is called turning of the wheel of Dharma.

Sarnath Buddhist Temple was built by one of the greatest emperor of the india which is Samarat Ashoka.

At that place there are many ancient Buddhist architectures are present. Such as Buddhist Temple, Ashoka chakra, Ashoka stambha, Mulagandhakuti Vihara, Stupa etc.

Ramanagar Fort

This beautiful fort was built by Kashi naresh Mahraja Balavant Singh. This fort is located on the eastern bank of River Ganga. when you are come to see this fort your are amazed because of the fort architecture.

Ramanagar fort was build in the mughal architecture. In this fort there is a museum where many historical things are collect and showing us.

Bharat Mata Temple

If you are intrested in indian map. I thought this place is built for you. in 1936 this place was built by Babu shiva prasad gupta.

There is huge and undiveded Indian map build with some stones.

Which looks awsome. Bharat mata temple situated in the campus of Mahatama gandhi kashi vidyapith.

Jantar Mantar Varanasi

It is an astronomical and astrology building which is build in 1724-1734 by the king Jaisingh. King jaising is know for his intelligence.

Their are five janata mantar building was built by the king Jaisingh. These are :

• Ujjain
• Varanasi
• Jaipur
• Mathura
• Delhi

This building is located on the roof of Man mahal palace, near Dashashwamedh Ghat. This architecture is present on the bank of the holy Ganga River.
